# Manchester United: Fans want Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked after West Ham loss

**After two 1-0 wins in the previous week – firstly against Leicester in the Premier League and then against Astana in the Europa League – Manchester United looked to have found a bit of form.**

However, this weekend things came crashing back down as the Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat away at West Ham, with the result topped off by the fact that Marcus Rashford – their only remaining fit established striker – limped off with a groin injury that is expected to sideline him for a [“little while”](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/ole-gunnar-solskjaer-issues-marcus-20144699).

These United fans have been [left infuriated](https://twitter.com/ManUtd/status/1175797224275529728) after they witnessed an extremely poor overall performance from their side at the London Stadium on Sunday, which saw goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell seal an impressive 2-0 win for the Hammers.

Some are now calling for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be replaced, as shown by the replies to the Norwegian’s post-match press conference which was uploaded to United’s official Twitter account after the game:

> I’d like him sacked please guys.

> It’s high time fans start to differentiate him as a player and a manager.
>
> His current reign with [#mufc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/mufc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) totally mirrors his stint in the PL with Cardiff. Just Way out of his depth.

> Love him as a player but just a bang average manager unfortunately. [#GlazersOut](https://twitter.com/hashtag/GlazersOut?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)
