# Manchester United: Fans want Sancho to replace Rashford

**England manager Gareth Southgate is expected to rest Marcus Rashford for this evening’s game against Kosovo at St Mary’s, replacing him with Borussia Dortmund wide man Jadon Sancho, per [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12016/11805904/jadon-sancho-to-start-for-england-against-kosovo).**

Rashford, who started Saturday’s 4-0 win over Bulgaria, will be rested for tonight’s clash on the south coast as manager Southgate looks to ‘freshen things up’ against the European minnows.

Sancho has already produced [three goals and four assists in all competitions](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/profil/spieler/401173) for Dortmund this term, and came on for the final 20 minutes at Wembley three days ago.

Southgate is also set to hand starts to full-backs Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Chillwell (via [Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12016/11805904/jadon-sancho-to-start-for-england-against-kosovo)), while Leicester City’s James Maddison could be introduced to make his senior debut as the game nears its end, per the [Independent](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/england-vs-kosovo-predicted-lineups-team-news-euro-2020-qualifier-time-tv-channel-a9098731.html).

“We need to get the right attacking and defending profiles to make sure we win the game,” said Southgate, ahead of this evening’s clash ([Sky Sports](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/12016/11805904/jadon-sancho-to-start-for-england-against-kosovo)).
