# Manchester United: Fans want to sell Phil Jones and Eric Bailly

**Lots of Manchester United fans want to sell both Phil Jones and Eric Bailly as [J](https://twitter.com/TelegraphDucker)[ames Ducker](https://twitter.com/TelegraphDucker) (via [utdreport](https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1329395875647512580)) gave an injury update on the duo.**

As per the Daily Telegraph journalist, the former could be back from a long-standing knee problem next month wile the latter is edging closer to a return from a muscle injury.

While it could be seen as good news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will now have more options in his squad, several members of the Old Trafford faithful just expressed their desire for the Red Devils to sell the pair.

Indeed, Jones is [yet](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/phil-jones/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/117996) to feature at all for Man United so far in the 2020/21 term, and has a very [long](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/phil-jones/verletzungen/spieler/117996) list of various injury problems that he has suffered from ever since signing for the club from Blackburn Rovers.

Bailly is very similar, having only managed to play in just [four](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eric-bailly/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/286384/plus/0?saison=2020&verein=&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=) games in all competitions so far this season, and he too has [missed](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/eric-bailly/verletzungen/spieler/286384) a lot of matches for Man Utd through his own injury woes.

### Manchester United fan reaction to Jones and Bailly update

These supporters were all in agreement over wanting to get rid of both Jones and Bailly on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/utdreport/status/1329395875647512580), with one fan even claiming that they are both ‘liabilities’:
