# Manchester United: Jadon Sancho debate has fans holding little hope

**In response [to a tweet from the United Stand](https://twitter.com/edhocknull/status/1209133346757992448?s=21), Manchester United supporters were presented with the scenario of target Jadon Sancho moving to Chelsea, and if he did, how the Red Devils would move forward in the transfer window – with large sections of fans not being too optimistic about the club’s strategies for that outcome.**

Borussia Dortmund winger Sancho has been a sensation since moving to the Bundesliga from Manchester City [in 2017](https://www.espn.co.uk/football/soccer-transfers/story/3193000/borussia-dortmund-sign-jadon-sancho-from-manchester-city?device=featurephone), scoring [26 goals and assisting 36 others](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jadon-sancho/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/401173) in all competitions for the German club – prompting [potential interest](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2019/nov/15/manchester-united-transfer-jadon-sancho-dortmund) from United in bringing him to Old Trafford.

However, according to a report from [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10602563/jadon-sancho-chelsea-man-utd-liverpool-120m/), Chelsea look like they are winning the race for Sancho’s signature and are confident they can snap him up ahead of other potential suitors Liverpool and United.

As a result, The United Stand have asked supporters what they would do if that outcome came to fruition – with the fans not exactly holding much optimism.
