Manchester United have a great academy, which is proven by the fact that some of its graduates are in the first team squad now such as Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood, who are key players.

The two managed 27 goals between them in the Premier League last season, whilst they also have Jesse Lingard in the squad who scored the FA Cup winning goal for the Red Devils back in 2016.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be keeping an eye on his academy for the next big talent and many of the supporters are reacting as @utdreportAcad tweeted out as Anthony Elanga picked up the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year award, which is handed out to the best player in the U18's.

Due to recent events, the U18's could not play a lot of games, however Elanga, who is 18, managed seven goals in his eight appearances for the side, per Manchester United.

He looks to have a promising career ahead as he has also featured eleven times for the U23's and his home nation of Sweden have clearly noticed his potential as he has made five appearances for the U17's and scored two goals, per Transfermarkt.

Hopefully he continues to grow and he is definitely a player that supporters if the club should be keeping an eye on.

Here is what fans said following the news, with some suggesting that he should start getting some first team minutes soon. One even suggested that Dan James should "watch out" which indicates that they feel Elanga is good enough to take the Welshman's place in the team. Indeed, James has scored just four goals in 47 Red Devils appearances.
