Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was left unimpressed with midfielder Bruno Fernandes for an incident during a 1-0 win over Wolves, according to Samuel Luckhurst

The Lowdown: Another three points

Ten Hag's side made it three Premier League victories in a row with a 1-0 win at Molineux on Saturday lunchtime, with Marcus Rashford's second-half strike proving the difference.

The Englishman actually started on the bench but replaced Alejandro Garnacho at half time, with the Argentine missing a big chance in the early stages.

The win takes United into the top four ahead of this afternoon's fixtures, but Ten Hag wasn't pleased with everything that he saw in the Midlands.

The Latest: Luckhurst's post

Luckhurst, chief reporter for The Manchester Evening News, was present at Molineux for the game on Saturday and provided a commentary on Twitter.

He spotted that Ten Hag wasn't happy with Fernandes for stopping during a play in the first half and 'actually rollocked' the Portugal midfielder.

"Ten Hag was appealing to the fourth official but he actually rollocked Fernandes for stopping there. Wolves very loose in defence but #mufc too deep at times when if they exert pressure they can force errors."

The Verdict: Not messing around

Ten Hag has shown he isn't a manager to be messed with since moving to Old Trafford and once again proved that by going crazy at Fernandes.

He dropped Rashford from the starting XI due to an 'internal disciplinary' issue and was seemingly happy for Cristiano Ronaldo to leave last month.

United have been crying out for a manager who isn't afraid to make the big calls and to put players in their place, something which he did with Fernandes in the first half before he set up Rashford for the winner.
