The Slovakia international has been [hailed](https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1585352630158888960?s=20&t=GdN-s-HEaly2XwVU5HfTLQ) as an ‘incredible player’ by Inter president Steven Zhang and he now has [233 appearances](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/milan-skriniar/alletore/spieler/204069) to his name for his current club, highlighting the level he has played at for a sustained period.

With Raphael Varane [injury-prone](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/raphael-varane/verletzungen/spieler/164770) and question marks surrounding Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof, Skriniar could be a new leader of United’s defence for several years, alongside Lisandro Martinez.
