Nailing down Rashford’s future is particularly vital, considering the 25-year-old is in the form of life – he now has [14 league goals](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/300299/Show/Marcus-Rashford) this season – and it is encouraging that the takeover talk isn’t affecting matters.

Meanwhile, De Gea has returned to top form this season, [starting](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/79554/Show/David-de-Gea) all 24 league matches, and Shaw has nailed down the left-back spot, averaging [1.4 aerial duel wins](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/118244/Show/Luke-Shaw) per game.

At just 23, Dalot is also a long-term prospect who is superior to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, when fit – he has [2.1 tackles](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/353418/Show/Diogo-Dalot) and 1.4 interceptions per match, compared to his teammate’s [1.9 and 1.3](https://www.whoscored.com/Players/331924/Show/Aaron-Wan-Bissaka) – so extending his stay beyond [2024](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/diogo-dalot/profil/spieler/357147) is also of the utmost importance.
