# Manchester United: Red Devils fans fantasize over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s latest Paul Pogba update

**Speaking after the dominant 5-0 victory over LASK, Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said he does expect Paul Pogba to be at Old Trafford next season.**

The Telegraph’s football correspondent James Ducker tweeted:

> Solskjaer on Pogba's future: "Paul's our player. He has two years left on his contract, a year plus the option of another. You can expect Paul to be here \[next season\], yeah." [#mufc](https://twitter.com/hashtag/mufc?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

Predictably, many Red Devils are daydreaming about the inevitable link-up between the Frenchman and January signing Bruno Fernandes.

Although Pogba has been hit by an injury-stricken season, the 26-year-old has made 7 appearances in the Premier League, providing 2 assists. The French World Cup winner has featured in 150 games for Manchester United, notching 31 goals and 31 assists in all competitions ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/paul-pogba/leistungsdatenverein/spieler/122153)).

Since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon for £49.5m, Fernandes has made a rapid start to his career at Old Trafford, scoring 2 goals and creating 3 assists in the English top flight ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/bruno-fernandes/profil/spieler/240306)).

Solskjaer’s side are now unbeaten in 11 games, keeping nine clean sheets and scoring 29 goals ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/manchester-united/startseite/verein/985)).
