# Manchester United set to make stunning £105m triple swoop

[![Sterling rejects a new deal](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/4531325-500x361.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/4531325.jpg?admin)Manchester United fans are looking up with interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as [Metro](https://metro.co.uk/2015/04/06/manchester-united-ready-to-spend-105m-on-raheem-sterling-memphis-depay-and-mats-hummels-transfers-5135884/#mv-b) seem to think that a triple swoop is being readied this summer – and it is one that would make the club into title challengers.

The three players being eyed are Mats Hummels, Raheem Sterling and Memphis Depay – and we think that would not only improve Louis van Gaal’s side tenfold, it would also make the club a major player in the transfer market and make a huge statement on what looks like being their return to the Champions League.

Hummels and Depay seem like done deals to us – unless something dramatic happens – but as one of our punters notes over a beer and burger by the bar area, we think that landing Raheem Sterling will take a huge amount of work – not to mention a massive amount of money.
