# Manchester United set to re-sign striker in surprise deal?

[![Falcao](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/4561081-500x361.jpg)](https://cdn.footballtransfertavern.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/4561081.jpg?admin)[BBC Sport](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32405674) have Manchester United fans looking up from their pints here in the Football Transfer Tavern with a huge amount of shock as it seems the club are still trying to pull off a deal for Radamel Falcao.

The forward has of course been at United this season on loan from Monaco and as one of our punters notes over a beer at the bar, he has been shocking and in all honesty, we did not see Louis van Gaal wanting to make the move a permanent one, but according to the publication, Monaco are only dealing with United ahead of the summer.

Our landlord makes it clear that he thinks it would be a huge mistake to sign Falcao, and we have to say, it is hard to disagree!

### Manchester United fans. Do you think that this would be the biggest mistake you could make this summer? Is signing Falcao on a permanent deal something that will cost you money and points next season? Let us know your thoughts below.
