They claimed that the expectation from United chiefs is for Ronaldo to move on over the summer in a potential free transfer, with his second spell at the club ultimately a short one.

There has been a huge [debate](https://www.planetfootball.com/in-depth/cristiano-ronaldo-debate-problem-manchester-united/) all season on whether or not Ronaldo’s return was a good decision by the club and whether or not he is now actually a big problem at the club, and it seems as if he could be on the move over the coming months.

However, the cons are clear to see.
