The Football Transfer Tavern has been relatively quiet this evening, but the latest from the [Daily Star](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/367840/Dreaming-of-Man-Utd-Toni-Kroos-brother-hopes-for-Old-Trafford-mega-move) has caused something of a stir among Manchester United punters.

The paper claims that Bayern Munich star and long-term Red Devils target Toni Kroos is considering a move to Old Trafford.

The story was born from comments by Kroos’ brother Felix who plays for Werder Bremen. He believes that his older brother is keen on a move to United.

“We have already talked about it,” he told Sky Germany. “Manchester has been the team of my dreams since I was a child.

“However, I don’t give him any advice. He will take a good decision for himself. There are worse situations than having to decide something like that.”

Kroos is yet to agree a new deal with the Bundesliga champions and speculation has been rife in the tavern that he could depart amid a disagreement over wages at the Allianz Arena.

Despite this, Kroos maintains his place in Pep Guardiola’s side and was outstanding during their recent Champions League first leg victory over Arsenal.
