Manchester United: Fans react as it looks like they could lose out on Sergio Reguilon

It looked like Manchester United were close to signing a new defender in Sergio Reguilon, however the latest reports suggest that a fellow Premier League side might be hijacking the deal.
According to David Ornstein from The Athletic, and tweeted out by utdreport, Tottenham are close to agreeing a permanent deal for Reguilón. The Red Devils have also held discussions for the player but no agreement has been reached.
Defensively last season, Reguilon managed on average 1.8 tackles and 1.1 interceptions per game, whilst offensively he picked up two goals and four assists, via WhoScored. He is only 23 years old, per Transfermarkt, and helped Sevilla to win the Europa League last season, and this highlights the quality he has.
Therefore many United fans are rightfully frustrated that it looks like the board might be failing to acquire the player, and are also losing out on him to a Premier League rival.

I’m in a state I can no longer be surprised at what this club puts on the table anymore. Anyways idea of Alaba crossed anyone, if so who’s your pick? Re: Sergio
