Manchester United: Fans react to latest reports over potential move for Eduardo Camavinga

A number of Manchester United fans have been bemoaning the Red Devils’ recent transfer policy and suggesting that their club would be unlikely to move for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga amid recent reports.
United have apparently put a mechanism in place sign Camavinga from Rennes if they were to lose Paul Pogba next summer, with the Red Devils ready to rival Real Madrid in pursuit of a move for the talented 17-year-old midfielder, according to AS, via Sport Witness.

Camavinga enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season with Rennes in Ligue 1, making 25 appearances and showing his potential to develop into a quality all-round midfielder. The 17-year-old averaged an 88% passing accuracy, 4.2 tackles and 1.4 interceptions per game last term, as per Sofascore.
Pogba had been linked with a move away from Manchester United with both Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly interested in the Frenchman, according to Sky Sports. However, the France international has remained at Old Trafford and has featured in all of the Red Devils’ opening Premier League matches.
A lot of United fans were sceptical over the Red Devils’ chances of securing a move for Camavinga, with some pointing out that it would be the sort of sensible transfer move that the club have not been making in recent years.

If true and happens, great move. It would assume someone would want to buy Pogba though…

This sounds like something a sensible club would do, my club is not sensible in the slightest

He is off to real Madrid then. We pose no threat in the transfer world.

A club making smart decisions like this, could not be United.

Am pretty sure we won’t get him that is if we try and that’s being too sensible for us
