Manchester United: Fans urge United to make move for Amad Traore following latest report

A number of Manchester United supporters have been urging the Red Devils to secure a deal with Atalanta for Amad Traore, following the latest update about his potential future.
Man United are thought to be working on a deal to bring Traore to the club with talks ongoing between the two parties, and United are cautiously optimistic over reaching an agreement for his services, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been looking to add to his attacking options during the transfer window, but so far, they have been frustrated in their attempts to bring in Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. Although, despite other reports indicating the Red Devils are looking at alternatives to the England international, the Manchester Evening News claims that Traore is not being viewed as an alternative and that this deal does not impact the chase of Sancho.
Traore is a player who is full of potential and at the age of 18, he has already just begun to make an impression with Atalanta’s first team, having made three appearances in Serie A last campaign, where he scored his first goal for the Italian side against Udinese (via Transfermarkt). That goal saw him become the first player to be born in 2002 to register a goal in Serie A.
If a deal gets done, it would therefore, be more of a signing for the future than one who would be coming in with instant pressure to hit the ground running. However, as Daniel James showed at the start of last term, young exciting attacking talents can make an instant impact when selected.
Plenty of United fans are still eager to see the Red Devils secure Sancho, but many of their supporters were enthusiastic about the idea of signing Traore as well, with many pointing out the potential he has to develop into a very good player over the next few years.
These Man United fans took to Twitter to urge the club to go and secure a deal with Atalanta for the 18-year-old before the window closes.
This is one for the future, bring in a fast young winger, get him on the weights and playing big boys football (prob on loan for a season or two) and he'll be a great buy if we can get him cheap to start with.

I like this player. He is a sheer talent. And such a talent in a reasonable price is only possible for Non-English players ! He might prove out to be an important asset for Ole.

He looks very decent a player, n needs a chance at the top level to unlock his full potential. A huge upgrade to Dan James in my opinion. Dortmund can keep Sancho anyways, cos at this point, I don't give a damn!! Get Traore in..

As a Daniel James replacement and not Sancho alternative then I’m sold, bags of potential.
