# ‘Masterclass’, ‘This is your time’ – Liverpool fans have high hopes for 27-year-old on Tuesday

***The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are already getting excited for their side’s clash with Man City on Tuesday. It’s looking set to be Liverpool’s biggest game of the season, with a top-four spot in the Champions League on offer.***

The game is particularly exciting given what transpired in the first leg.

Whilst many were expecting a close one, the Reds demolished the Premier League leaders, with Jurgen Klopp’s men good-value for their win.

The game wasn’t without negative consequences for them, though, with Jordan Henderson – who was a rock in the midfield – set to miss the second-leg after picking up a yellow card.

That’s likely to mean that midfielder Georiginio Wijnaldum will play, likely in a deeper role than he is used to, and it’s fair to say that most of the fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t quite sure how it’s going to go.

The same cannot be said for the Liverpool fans over on the fan subreddit page on Reddit. A forum made up of hugely dedicated supporters, Liverpool fans have been discussing Wijnaldum’s role in the game [after he,](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/8atafl/gini_prepared_for_no_6_role_the_manager_was/) along with [Jurgen Klopp](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/8atc7d/klopp_on_gini_as_6_gini_is_a_brilliant_player_he/), discussed the prospect ahead of the game.

It seems most are expecting a very good performance from the Dutchman.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
