# “I want…”: £115 million Chelsea star responds to rumours linking him with Real Madrid

[Chelsea](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/chelsea-fc-transfer-rumours/) are preparing for a busy summer in the transfer market.

After some early improvement under [Liam Rosenior](https://chelseanews.com/blog/chelsea-news-liam-rosenior-man-city-cesc-fabregas/), recent results have highlighted areas that need strengthening.

While the club will look to bring in new talent and offload players who are no longer part of the plan, a few stars remain untouchable.

One of those is Moises Caicedo, who has now responded to persistent rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

## **Caicedo Quashes Real Madrid Rumours**

Moises Caicedo has firmly committed to Chelsea despite ongoing speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

The £115 million midfielder has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers this season, playing a key role in their early campaign form that briefly had the Blues in Premier League title contention.

Under Liam Rosenior—who took over from Enzo Maresca earlier this year—Caicedo remains a central figure in the squad, yet rumours about his potential summer exit have persisted.

Addressing the reports on El Chiringuito TV, Caicedo stated: “I’m focused on my club right now. I have a contract with my club, and I want to do well. I want to be a legend, God willing. And well, that’s all for now.”

Chelsea supporters will be heartened by the Ecuadorian’s comments, suggesting he intends to stay at Stamford Bridge and continue building his legacy.
