# Mourinho and Man United forward reportedly at odds after recent events

**Just as the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern were enjoying what seemed to be like a steady ship under Jose Mourinho, reports from the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) have been met with vocal disagreement by our punters.**

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now leading the line at Old Trafford, the Red Devils seem to have a £58m problem on their hands. Despite taking to the Premier League like a duck to water last term, the report [claims](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) Anthony Martial’s relationship with the Portuguese is on the rocks.

The Frenchman hasn’t always been a regular under him this term and is [thought](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) to have been disappointed at his dropping from the matchday squad for the weekend’s draw at Stoke City. For his part, Mourinho is [believed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) to have been disappointed with his performance in the recent draw with Liverpool.

Sevilla have been [touted](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) as a potential destination for the 21-year-old this month, though the report does [suggest](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4149464/Anthony-Martial-upset-omission-Stoke-draw.html) the Red Devils would be against listening to any offers right now, having already sold Memphis Depay.
