# Newcastle United: Fans profess love for club after Twitter post

**Newcastle United fans were professing their love for the club after a post about taking part in a game of Connect Four.**

[Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk](https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1239553177067929600) invited the Geordies to a game of the famous past time, however, they were met with swift rejection. The game seems to be the new trend among various clubs across Europe after leagues around the continent were postponed following recent events. [Hull City](https://twitter.com/HullCity/status/1238979834036043778) took on Bayer Leverkusen in a tight contest and defeated the Bundesliga outfit after a lengthy encounter.

One fan labelled the response ‘amazing’.

However, it’s not just Connect Four that has been the new trend amongst the admins of the Twitter accounts of professional clubs. It seems as though noughts and crosses is also a favourite with [Southampton](https://twitter.com/SouthamptonFC/status/1238865965376589826) and Manchester City playing out a draw on Saturday. Newcastle supporters loved what the admin replied in response to the invite as they took to Twitter to react. Here are some replies:
