# Newcastle United: Fans wish Allan Saint-Maximin happy birthday

**The Toon Army have reacted to a post from [Newcastle United’s official Twitter account](https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/1238038340462686209) wishing fan favourite Allan Saint-Maximin a happy birthday. [The Magpies star tweeted a two-word reply](https://twitter.com/asaintmaximin/status/1238050158337720320) resulting in plenty of reactions from supporters online.**

Quoting a famous remark from boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, popularised by internet meme [@NoContextHearn](https://twitter.com/nocontexthearn/status/1170028690979414017?lang=en), the club posted:

> "My darling, you with the headband, you are different gravy."
>
> Happy birthday [@asaintmaximin](https://twitter.com/asaintmaximin?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)! ⚡️⚫️⚪️[#NUFC](https://twitter.com/hashtag/NUFC?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [pic.twitter.com/WVR3BeGFpI](https://t.co/WVR3BeGFpI)

Saint-Maximin replied on Twitter with [a simple “my club” followed by a heart emoji](https://twitter.com/asaintmaximin/status/1238050158337720320).

Since moving to Tyneside from French side Nice, the 23-year-old has made 18 appearances in the Premier League for Steve Bruce’s Black and Whites this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/allan-saint-maximin/profil/spieler/272642)).

Bruce’s squad are currently 13th in the English top flight with 35 points, just 2 points behind Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton, and are preparing to face Sheffield United on Saturday at St James’ Park.
