As per the outlet, Dummett claimed that the supporters are a massive part of football, adding that everyone in the Tyneside area lives and breathes the beautiful game.
The 28-year old also admitted that it will not be great without the Magpies fans there but stressed that the safety of everybody is the most important thing and hoped that they can celebrate at home whenever Steve Bruce’s team score.
Amongst other topics, Dummett labelled the possibility of getting to the FA Cup semi-final, and then playing it in front of no fans, as typical of the Tyneside club but accepts that beating Manchester City will be no easy task.
Will Newcastle reach the FA Cup final?
The Welsh international has not played since December and is still working back to full fitness but hopes to be involved at some point in the remaining matches, especially the FA Cup.
These members of the Toon faithful discussed his claims, with close focus on his comments about the team scoring goals. One supporter called for two-goal defender Fabian Schar to be deployed up front while another referenced £40m striker Joelinton’s meagre return of three goals for the season.

We’ve scored 12 goals in 14 home games so we might not get to celebrate much.
I’ll take 0-0’s all day now, just get this season over.

If you mean we have the worst attack in the whole league luckily we have a class goalkeeper without Dubravka we would be joining Norwich to the Championship
