Newcastle United: Fans fume as report emerges about season tickets

Lots of Newcastle United fans are fuming as a report emerged from Seb Stafford-Bloor as he shared his latest report for Four Four Two on his official Twitter page.
As per his article, the journalist claims that supporters are losing out due to a lack of communication from inside St. James’ Park during the downtime from the global pandemic.
The Tyneside club are still collecting direct debits for advance season ticket payments, even with it confirmed that the rest of the Premier League campaign will take place in empty stadiums and that, as yet, there are no plans to allow attendance in 2020/21, as per Stafford-Bloor.
He writes that Mike Ashley appears to be relinquishing his grip, and adds that the way the club behaves during this interim period is not subject to the usual scrutiny.
These members of the Toon faithful fumed upon hearing that the Magpies are still taking direct debits for future season tickets, as some seemed to point the finger at Ashley who remains in charge until the takeover is approved:
Is Ashley solely to blame for the ticket situation?
Yes

No

This is a perfect example of why the Newcastle supporters are so desperate for the Ashley era to end, 13 years of being ignored and treated with utter contempt! He is not a fit and proper owner!

This is an absolute disgrace ! The club still needs to be ran. The club is rudderless surely the @premierleague need to step in and force something to be done OR does their lack of intervention also show that the takeover is round the corner after all?? #nufctakeover
