Newcastle United: Fans overjoyed by players kneeling in training

Some Newcastle United fans have been expressing their joy after the Tyneside club’s official Twitter page shared an image of some of the players taking a knee around the centre circle of the training pitch in reaction to the ‘Black Lives Matter‘ movement, with the caption of #UnitedAsOne as part of the tweet.
With the movement being a hot topic in the news at the moment, it was totally understandable for the squad to stop what they were doing in training for a short period of time and pay their respects.
The Magpies have resumed practice in preparation for the return of football in the Premier League after the global pandemic struck, as the top flight is set to resume on June 17th with Aston Villa playing Sheffield United and Manchester City facing Arsenal, as per Sky Sports.
Do you think Newcastle can finish in the top half of the Premier League?
Yes

No

However, the team stopped their preparations for a moment to pay their respects, and it seems as if these members of the Toon faithful applauded what they were doing:
Fantastic gesture to a pertinent cause… I just wish @NUFC felt that way towards its paying fans.
