Newcastle United: Fans react to Mark Douglas insight on season tickets

Many Newcastle United fans have been reacting to an insight on season tickets at the Tyneside club from Mark Douglas after he shared his opinion piece for ChronicleLive on his official Twitter page.
The writer argues that there is there is no excuse for the Magpies’ inaction on season ticket refunds as the prospective takeover in the North East has still not yet been approved, meaning that it remains unclear just who is going to be in charge of running things at St. James’ Park.
Should season ticket prices be refunded?
Yes

No

Mike Ashley still remains the current owner at the moment whilst Lee Charnley is still the managing director, despite a proposed deal being agreed between the selling side and a Saudi-led consortium that has been headhunted by businesswoman Amanda Staveley.
Nevertheless, Douglas goes on to take a dig at both Ashley and Charnley who have remained rather mute in the whole situation as the journalist claims that it is no way to treat the supporters.
It seems as if these members of the Toon faithful agreed with him as they voiced their rage at the two NUFC men, unsurprising really given they don’t have the best of relationships with either Ashley or Charnley:

Ashley couldn’t care less but @premierleague could and should have approved the takeover by now which would have allowed our new ownership to communicate on the matter. Disgusting from them and even worse from Ashley

It’s so bad and happens so frequently, I’m not even surprised anymore. I’d take ever pleasure in seeing Ashley go broke.

Ashley is to tight to give season ticket holders there money back for games what they are not allowed to go too

Lee Charnley needs chasing out of the North East. Deserves a life time ban from SJP.
