Newcastle United: Mike Ashley’s proposed lawyer in takeover case shows full support to club

The proposed lawyer to represent Mike Ashley in a possible takeover court case between Newcastle United and the Premier League has shown his full support to the St. James’ Park faithful on Twitter.
Nick De Marco QC tweeted ‘well done’ to the Tyneside club after they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 away from home in the top flight thanks to goals from Callum Wilson and Joelinton on Friday night, although he did praise Brighton for beating Liverpool, even though that game ended as a draw!
Come on Brighton! My new local team. Always like to see good clients win, esp against Liverpool! And well done NUFC yesterday! #Brighton #BHALIV #Newcastle #PremierLeague

Is De Marco the man to get the Newcastle takeover done?
De Marco has a very good reputation in the world of law. earlier this month, he was a key component of Sheffield Wednesday winning their case to get their points reduction in the EFL Championship reduced from 12 to just six, giving the Owls a much better chance of survival from relegation.
Are the Premier League to blame for the Newcastle takeover collapse?
Yes

No

He is also well-renowned in the sports business industry, as those who work with him privately have previously branded him as the best around.
De Marco has also been labelled as ‘the Lionel Messi of sport law,’ which is clearly a high accolade and thus, it should give members of the Toon Army a lot of encouragement if he does go on represent Ashley in any potential court case against the Premier League.
Nonetheless, he is clearly supporting the Magpies for what they do on the football pitch, which will surely please NUFC fans.
