Newcastle United are reportedly looking at the possibility of signing up Florent Indalecio after taking him on trial, according to The Chronicle.
As per the outlet, the 23-year old has featured in some of the under-23 fixtures of the Tyneside club in pre-season and scored a spectacular overhead kick in training recently.
The brilliant strike was hailed by Allan Saint-Maximin as the French winger posted a clip of the goal on his Instagram story along with several other highlights of Indalecio while he was training in the northeast.

However, it remains to be seen whether the attacking midfielder will be signed up at St James’ Park, as he has come over from Ligue 1 team Saint-Etienne with a less than stellar reputation.
Indalecio was apparently dismissed by the French side because of his bad behaviour but is allegedly trying to make his way back into European football again after a stint in Australia with Fraser Park FC.
Indeed, he would likely have to prove to Steve Bruce as well as Magpies fans in general that he has cleaned up his act, and goals like the overhead kick that he scored in pre-season training will only help his cause.
At 23 years of age, Indalecio will surely be looking to secure regular first-team football for himself in order for his career to develop, but only time will tell as to whether the youngster from France would be able to break into the first team squad at Newcastle under Bruce.
