Newcastle United striker Joelinton may leave on loan for Turkish club Fenerbahce, according to Shields Gazette.
As per the outlet, the Turkish side have put him on their wanted list, but it remains to be seen as to whether the Tyneside club will allow the player to leave in the summer transfer window.
German-born Fenerbahce boss Erol Bulut is thought to be a big fan of Joelinton and may have to put in a lucrative offer in order to persuade Steve Bruce to let him go for the 2020/21 season.
Should Newcastle give Joelinton another chance?
With the likes of new signing Callum Wilson, Andy Carroll, Dwight Gayle and Yoshinori Muto already in the forward positions, perhaps the Brazilian will not get regular game-time under the English manager and so it might be an idea for Bruce to send him out on loan in order for him to try and regain his confidence.
Given his struggles in English football so far, perhaps a move to Turkey would suit Joelinton with a different style of football and, if he is successful, he could then come back stronger and fight for his place at Newcastle next season.
On the other hand, the 24-year old could stay with the Magpies and fight for his place now, as he will surely have a point to prove to Bruce.
