[According to ChronicalLive](https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ayoze-perez-responds-talk-him-11339160), Ayoze Perez has given Newcastle fans assurances that he has no intentions of leaving St James’ Park this summer.

He arrived at Newcastle last summer as a bargain from Tenerife and after impressing in his debut season in the top flight – Tottenham and Manchester United have both been linked with him.

The Magpies were aware of the interest surrounding the 22-year-old and he agreed a long-term deal until 2o21 and so if they do end up selling him, they will be able to demand a high fee for his services.
