Both Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac missed Arsenal’s trip to Newcastle on Sunday amid fears for the pair’s safety after they were caught up in an armed robbery attempt back in late July, Sky Sports, but now it seems the problem is getting worse.

Both of the pair are now in danger of missing further matches as they’ve become caught up in the middle of an on-going gang war following their escape back in July. That’s what The Daily Mail have reported, and the Arsenal pair are now under 24-hour surveillance.
No one surely wants to have players being paid that can’t play and with the European transfer window not slamming shut until the end of August, there is still the opportunity to sell the pair and move them on this summer, which is a step that a lot of the Gunners below seem open to.

Might as well sell now

If it’s that bad then we can sell them this month. The window for that is still open. Never seen a situation like this. It’s ridiculous

Sell them. Simple

The safety of the players has to be paramount, although with the fans calling to sell the pair, Unai Emery could have a decision to make.
