Bristol City: Fans adore Josh Brownhill’s words after wonderstrike

Many Bristol City supporters have sent in their messages of love to Josh Brownhill after he tweeted following their win against Cardiff City.
Skipper Brownhill, still just 23, scored the only goal in the Severnside derby to give Bristol City all three points and to thrust them into the top 6.
Cardiff were at that point unbeaten at home all season, but thanks to Josh Brownhill’s thunderbolt they were able to win.
It might feel like a double-whammy for Bristol City fans, who were all there to witness Neil Warnock’s last ever game in charge for Cardiff, as he later left the club “by mutual consent”, per Sky Sports.
Despite some of Bristol City’s better players in the past now playing for Cardiff – Aden Flint, Marlon Pack and Bobby Reid – neither of them could stop a resilient Bristol City from overpowering them.
In a match which lacked quality, Lee Johnson said it was “a warrior-like performance”, with players “putting their bodies on the line and competing for every challenge”, according to BBC Sport.
Josh Brownhill tweeted after the game to share his excitement, to which many other Robins got in touch to express their happiness.

Absolutely cracking result. Wasnt the easiest to watch, but the team was cracking. Great to see Nagy back, and Smith in the bench!! Onwards. Have a good international break, you deserve it!!
