Chelsea midfielder Juan Castillo, who is currently on loan with Ajax’s second-string, Jong Ajax, has admitted that he hopes to be purchased by the Dutch giants when his loan spell comes to an end next summer, via reports on Twitter.
The Netherlands Under-20 international, who began as a trainee with Ajax but moved to west London after signing for the Blues in 2016, is yet to feature for Chelsea’s senior side.
Castillo’s recent comments suggest that Ajax have an option to buy him at the end of the campaign should he impress while playing for them this term, though that is not confirmed.
“Ajax has hired me with an option to buy. If I do well, I hope that I get bought. Ultimately, you want to be bought, because that would mean you have done well. Of course I am also open to Chelsea, but at the moment the plans are as they are,” said the 19-year-old.
Here’s how Blues fans reacted to Castillo’s comments on Twitter:

Then sell him, his attitude should be“ I want to return to Chelsea a better player and prove why I should be playing”
