**Norwich City fans were giving their thoughts on who should be the September player of the month, with one player sticking out among the rest.**

Indeed, these members of the Carrow Road faithful gave their vote to 21-year-old centre-half Ben Godfrey, who has yet to miss a Premier League game so far this season [(via Transfermarkt)](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-godfrey/leistungsdaten/spieler/343475).

The England under-21 international also captained the side in their 2-0 defeat away to [Crystal Palace](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/ben-godfrey/leistungsdaten/spieler/343475) last weekend.

Godfrey has enjoyed a fine campaign for the Norfolk side, making the most blocks, the second-most interceptions and the fourth-most clearances of any player in Daniel Farke’s side [(via WhoScored)](https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/168/Show/England-Norwich).

The German coach has been heaping praise on the centre-back, claiming he has all the ingredients to become a ‘world-class’ defender [(via Eastern Daily Press)](https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/canaries-farke-hails-world-class-potential-of-godfrey-1-5672611).

When being asked for their opinion by the club’s official Twitter account, some fans only had one name on their mind.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Carrow Road faithful:
