# Norwich City: Fans support Ben Godfrey after second consecutive 2-0 loss

**Norwich City fans showed their support for Ben Godfrey after their side’s 2-0 loss away to [Crystal Palace](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49778506) in the Premier League on Saturday.**

The loss to the south London side was the club’s second consecutive 2-0 loss in the Premier League, having lost to [Burnley](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49698430) 2-0 the week before.

The Canaries have won just two of their seven Premier League games this season, leaving them languishing just outside the relegation zone [(via Premier League)](https://www.premierleague.com/tables).

However, centre-back Godfrey came out fighting with a three-word message on Twitter, reading: “We’ll be back” [(via Twitter)](https://twitter.com/BenG0dfrey/status/1177999133371703296).

Daniel Farke sent out a warning message to his players, telling them they needed to learn from the ‘harsh’ lesson they were taught on Saturday [(via BBC)](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/49866961).

Despite the consecutive defeats, the fans of the club were in defiant mood with messages of support for their 21-year-old centre-back as they took to Twitter to react.

Here is a selection of tweets from the Carrow Road faithful:
