# Nottingham Forest: Fans heap praise on Tiago Silva after birthday post

**As Nottingham Forest midfielder Tiago Silva celebrates his birthday, fans are heaping the praise on him.**

The official club Twitter account has wished a happy birthday to the Portuguese playmaker and have followed up with a video of his [goal against Birmingham](https://twitter.com/NFFC/status/1267773146561683456) earlier this year.

Silva [joined Forest last year](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48880039) from Primeira Liga relegation victims Feirense and has taken well to his new side, scoring three goals and assisting four in his first season with the club (via [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tiago-silva/leistungsdaten/spieler/236997)).

One Reds fan has commented on the birthday post claiming he is the ‘KDB of Nottingham Forest’. Indeed, Silva boasts 81% pass accuracy and completes an average of 1.2 dribbles per game (via [Sofascore](https://www.sofascore.com/player/tiago-silva/252095)).

Another Forest supporter has tweeted that the birthday boy was ‘becoming really influential before the break’, after he scored two goals in five games. His [most recent goal was against Cardiff](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tiago-silva/leistungsdaten/spieler/236997) in the club’s final game before the hiatus, in which Silva netted the only goal of the match.
