It looks increasingly likely that the 21-year-old will leave Liverpool this summer, in order to be a regular elsewhere, especially after their capture of Aberdeen youngster Calvin Ramsay.

According to [*The Telegraph’s Thursday evening update*](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2022/06/22/transfer-notebook-gareth-bale-spotted-cardiff-city-training/), Forest are ‘in talks’ with Williams over a £15million move, with the [21-time capped Wales international](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/neco-williams/profil/spieler/503680) seen as a strong replacement for Djed Spence, who could join Tottenham.
