Transfer insider Rudy Galetti has revealed that Nottingham Forest are among a number of clubs who are 'following' Armando Broja ahead of a potential move.

The Lowdown: Breakthrough season

The Albania international enjoyed somewhat of a breakthrough season on loan at Southampton from Chelsea, where he managed 38 appearances across all competitions, scoring nine goals and supplying one assist (Transfermarkt).

The 6 foot 3 brute is attracting interest from a number of high-profile clubs, with the aim to try and persuade the Blues to let him go permanently.

The Latest: Forest interested in Broja

Taking to Twitter, Galetti has revealed that Forest, along with Newcastle United and West Ham United, are 'following' Broja ahead of a potential move for the 20-year-old.

Napoli are also 'very attentive' to his situation at Stamford Bridge, although no official bid has been submitted to Thomas Tuchel's side as of yet.

The Verdict: Get it done

Having been promoted from the Championship, Steve Cooper's team could do with adding some more Premier League experience to the squad, having already signed Dean Henderson on loan from Manchester United.

Broja got a good taste of top-flight football last season, and at 20 years of age, he will surely be hungry to prove himself again at the highest level.

The striker is very highly regarded in his homeland, where he has been described as 'devastating' in and around the goal by Albania’s assistant manager Sergio Porrini.

Nonetheless, given the fierce competition for Broja's signature, this is a deal that the Reds need to get done as soon as possible.
