Nottingham Forest have posted an appreciation tweet for Samba Sow and fans are in agreement that the midfielder is an important part of the team.
Sow signed for the Reds last summer from Dinamo Moscow for an undisclosed fee. The Mali international penned a two-year deal with Forest after making the move to England (via BBC Sport).
Since his arrival, the 31-year-old has provided two Championship assists from the defensive midfield role, but has been out of the team on 16 separate occasions this season due to injury (via Transfermarkt).
Should Sheffield Wednesday keep or sell Morgan Fox?
Forest fans have flocked to the club’s tweet to show their appreciation for Sow after the club has highlighted his record with the Reds. The midfielder has played 19 games in total and has won 12, drawn six and lost just one.
One supporter has commented saying the club should ‘get him tied down’, as his current deal only lasts until next year.

The warrior you want in the middle of the park. Breaks up opposition attacks and allows the creative players in the side to flourish. Hopefully a great influence for Yates too

Crucial player – the system doesn’t always seem to work in his absence.
