Nottingham Forest: Reds eye up Moise Kean signing

Nottingham Forest are interested in making a summer move for Everton striker Moise Kean, according to a fresh transfer rumour that has emerged.
The Lowdown: Kean unwanted at Everton
The 22-year-old has struggled to find his feet at Goodison Park, instead being loaned out a number of times, including to Juve last season.
Kean scored five goals in 32 Serie A appearances in 2021/22 and found it hard to be considered a key starter – he only started 12 of those games – leaving his future once again up in the air. He still has another year left on the temporary deal in Turin if Juve want to keep him.
Everton manager Frank Lampard seemingly has no interest in having the Italian on Merseyside, meaning Forest could swoop in this summer.
The Latest: Forest keen on move
According to Corriere dello Sport [via Sport Witness], Kean is ‘far from non-transferable’ from Juve’s perspective, with the Reds mentioned as potential suitors.
The report states that ‘there are talks’ between the Italians and Forest, as well as Ligue 1 side Nice, although no offer has been tabled yet.
The Verdict: Best for all parties?
With Juve seemingly not desperate to keep Kean, and with Everton also not considering him an important player, a move to Forest could make the most sense this summer.
Would Pinamonti be a good signing for Forest?
Yes

No

At 22, the attacker is still learning as a player and Steve Cooper may feel he can improve his all-round game and help him fulfil his obvious potential at the City Ground.
It is easy to forget that Kean was once hailed as ‘fearless’ and ‘courageous’ by Thomas Tuchel, with former midfielder Eric Rabesandratana also comparing him to Edinson Cavani.
While the last few years haven’t been too productive, moving to an exciting attacking team like Forest could bring the best out a young player desperate for a fresh start.
