Nottingham Forest have posted a photo of Joao Carvalho in training and it seems many fans are excited to see him in action.

All Championship sides are preparing to resume the 2019/20 season after it was announced fixtures would recommence as of June 20 (via BBC Sport). Nottingham Forest are amongst those with something to fight for this campaign and will be looking to secure their place in the play-offs.

As it stands, the Reds are fifth in the table and have a good chance of battling it out for the final promotion spot, whilst an attack on the automatic places is not completely out of the question just yet (BBC Sport).

The official Forest Twitter has posted a picture of the club's No.10 during a training session and fans can't wait to see him back out on the pitch. One Red has tweeted: 'Start him away to Wednesday' as the team look to face off against the Owls in their first match back.

Another supporter has commented that it's Carvalho's 'time to shine'. The Portuguese midfielder has only managed to score one goal in the league this season, so a big comeback performance could be on the cards to help Forest qualify for the play-offs.
