Nottingham Forest are among a number clubs who are interested in signing Everton striker Moise Kean this summer, according to a fresh transfer report.

The Lowdown: Kean set for summer move

The 22-year-old has failed to shine at Goodison Park, spending the last two seasons on loan at Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus respectively after netting just four times for his parent club.

Kean is expected to leave Everton in the summer transfer window as he looks to seal a permanent departure and move on to the next chapter in his career, three years after joining the Toffees for an initial £25.1m when he was just 19.

Forest are eyeing up attacking reinforcements ahead of next season, and it appears as though the Italian is a target for Steve Cooper's side.

The Latest: Forest hoping to sign Kean

According to Corriere dello Sport [via Sport Witness], there are 'many offers' for Kean's signature, with Forest and Fulham among those interested.

However, it is stated that the newly-promoted Premier League duo 'do not convince' him, with a move back to PSG his current preference.

The Verdict: Unlikely

While Kean would be a potentially exciting signing for Forest this summer - he has scored four goals in 12 caps for Italy and hit a respectable 17 in 41 games for PSG - it doesn't feel as though a transfer to Forest is on the cards.

The Everton striker appears to be eyeing up a move to a Champions League club, most notably PSG, so he seemingly believes that he belongs at a higher level than where Cooper's team are currently operating.

It is imperative that another attacker of some kind comes into the City Ground this summer, though, with added firepower likely to be needed in Forest's quest to avoid relegation.
