If you thought Nottingham Forest were finished after an absolute frenzy on transfer deadline day — think again.
The Midlands club, who already had one of the busiest windows in Europe, have shocked everyone by sneaking in a fourteenth signing after the window slammed shut.
Forest’s deadline day alone was pure madness. They secured the experienced Oleksandr Zinchenko on-loan from Arsenal, snapped up Linfield’s teenage striker Matthew Orr, added Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa, and signed Brazilian full-back Cuiabano from Botafogo. They also grabbed Chelsea starlet Donnell McNeilly, who immediately went on loan to Wycombe.
And that was just the day itself. In the weeks prior, they’d already landed Manchester City midfielder James McAtee, fellow Brazilians John Victor, Jair Cunha, and Igor Jesus from Botafogo, Dan Ndoye from Bologna, and several more. By the time the clock struck midnight on deadline day, Forest had a jaw-dropping 13 signings to their name.
But, in true Forest fashion, there was still time for one more twist.
Forest Land Nwosu From West Ham

According to Fabrizio Romano, Nottingham Forest have now struck a deal to sign 17-year-old defender Chinaza Nwosu from West Ham United.
Although the move comes after the official deadline, paperwork is expected to be finalised by Tuesday evening, making Nwosu the final departure from the Hammers this summer.
The teenage centre-back, an England youth international, had been courted by a number of top clubs across Europe. But in the end, it was Forest who convinced him to make the City Ground his new home.
Mirror journalist John Cross has previously described Nwosu as a “big prospect” when West Ham offered him a scholarship deal to remain at Chadwell Heath. Now, though, the Irons have lost one of their brightest academy products — while Forest continue their transformation into one of the most ambitious clubs in the Premier League.
For Forest fans, it’s yet another reason to get excited about a future that suddenly looks packed with potential.
