# Everton: Fans laud Odsonne Edouard transfer update

**Some Everton fans have been left lauding a transfer update involving Odsonne Edouard.**

As per [Kaveh Solhekol](https://twitter.com/SkyKaveh/status/1431325269843906561), the Goodison Park faithful have now ‘sounded out’ Celtic over a potential deal to sign the striker before the summer window ends.

Edouard has already managed to score three goals and make a further two assists in ten games in total over all competitions so far in the 2021/22 season, and generally has been very prolific for the Hoops over the last few campaigns ([Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/odsonne-edouard/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/344152/plus/0?saison=&verein=371&liga=&wettbewerb=&pos=&trainer_id=)).

At 23 years of age, the Frenchman still has so much potential as well, and is surely ready to make the step up to the Premier League.

With just a few days left of the window remaining, the Merseyside club need to act now before other teams come sniffing.

### Everton fans on Edouard transfer update

These Toffees supporters lauded the transfer update as it was shared on Twitter, with two fans echoing the exact same – and very simple – message while one Blue claimed the striker is ‘quality’ player:

**“Not sure about the source but at rumoured £15m would be crazy if we weren’t interested. Good age, good profile, definitely the type of signing we should be looking to make.”**
