# ‘Our own Ronaldo’ – Liverpool fans are loving key Anfield ace on Twitter

***The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern are missing not being able to see their team in action. The Reeds finished the season strongly, but unfortunately for Jurgen Klopp, he’s now got a month or two before he can get back to managing his team.***

Fortunately for them, many of Liverpool’s first-teamers are in World Cup action this summer.

One such example is Sadio Mane, whose Senegal team began their campaign today.

[Ahead of the clash, Liverpool spent some time celebrating him on their official Twitter page by sharing some fantastic goals scored by the attacker over the last year.](https://twitter.com/LFC/status/1009042433366265856)

It’s fair to say that he’s scored some crackers, too, with Mane clearly rivalling Mohamed Salah when it comes to scoring exciting goals.

Naturally, the Liverpool fans on Twitter have been quick to respond, and they’ve been showing a lot of support for the Senegalese.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
