# Wolves: Fans fume over Owen Otasowie transfer update

**Many Wolves fans have been left fuming as a transfer update emerged on Owen Otasowie.**

As per [Voetbalkrant](https://www.voetbalkrant.com/nieuws/2021-08-12/owen-otasowie-staat-heel-dicht-bij-een-transfer-van-club-brugge), the central midfield player has attracted concrete interest from a whole host of clubs in Europe, including West Ham United, Everton, Ajax, Schalke and Club Brugge.

The news outlet claims that Otasowie would like to leave the Midlands club so that he can get more game time elsewhere.

However, the Molineux faithful are fairly [scarce](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/wolverhampton-wanderers/kadernachposition/verein/543) in his position at the moment, and have a pretty thin squad in general, and so letting Otasowie go at this minute in time would not seem like the wisest of ideas.

The USA international is only 20 years of age as well, and so still has a lot of potential which could be fulfilled under new manager Bruno Lage.
