# Crystal Palace: Fans reacted to Eagles’ reported interest in Said Benrahma

**Crystal Palace started their season off ideally as they managed to beat Southampton [1-0](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/sep/12/crystal-palace-southampton-premier-league-match-report) at Selhurst Park on Saturday. Despite the good performance, the transfer window is still open and recent reports suggest that the Eagles are keen on Said Benrahma.**

According to [Sky Sports,](https://www.skysports.com/) and tweeted out by [Palace Xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1305482183080017920?s=20), Palace are interested in the Brentford forward.  Club officials are due to meet Benrahma’s advisors about the possibility of doing a deal but the Bees will only sell if a potential buyer meets their valuation for the player.

Therefore, for a club like Palace, who only managed only [31 goals](https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/england/premier-league/17) in the Premier League last term (the second lowest in the division), signing a player who has such great attacking intent like Benrahma should really help them to improve in that department.
