# Crystal Palace: Fans react as Eagles reportedly interested in Siriki Dembele

**Crystal Palace will be desperate to acquire some attacking signings as club favourite Wilfried Zaha has [expressed](https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/wilfried-zaha-transfer-crystal-palace-roy-hodgson-latest-news-a9639066.html) his desire to leave the south London side in the transfer window.**

Eberechi Eze has been [linked](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11706/12041992/eberechi-eze-crystal-palace-have-bid-in-excess-of-12m-rejected-by-qpr) with a possible move to Selhurst Park but there have been no updates since Palace had a bid [rejected](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11706/12041992/eberechi-eze-crystal-palace-have-bid-in-excess-of-12m-rejected-by-qpr) for the Queens Park Rangers man. They will have their eyes on more than one player to come in this transfer window as they had on average the second-oldest squad in the Premier League [last season.](https://www.101greatgoals.com/news/average-age-of-premier-league-squads-arsenal-youngest-liverpool-oldest-of-top-6/)

According to [Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-crystal-palace-turn-attention-to-signing-23-yr-old-hailed-the-next-zaha/), and as tweeted by [Palace Xtra](https://twitter.com/cpfc_xtra/status/1294235127757918208), another attacking transfer target for the Eagles is Peterborough United’s Siriki Dembele.

He had his best campaign at the League One club last season in terms of goal contributions as he tallied five goals and eight assists, per [Transfermarkt](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/siriki-dembele/profil/spieler/488656); and at the age of 23, he is at an ideal age to develop even further as he approaches the prime years of his career.

[Football Insider](https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-crystal-palace-turn-attention-to-signing-23-yr-old-hailed-the-next-zaha/) added that scouts who have watched the attacker have called him “the next Wilfried Zaha”.

Here is what these Palace fans said following the news of Dembele’s transfer interest:
