# Everton: Toffees dealt more injury worries alongside Jordan Pickford

**[Everton](https://www.footballtransfertavern.com/everton-fc-news/) have been dealt some more injury worries alongside goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.**

### The Lowdown: Pickford setback

Pickford unfortunately picked up a [thigh injury](https://www.evertonfc.com/news/2785636/pickford-suffers-thigh-injury) after his heroics in the 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool in the Premier League.

Speaking to the media in his pre-game press conference ahead of their match against West Ham United at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon, Frank Lampard has [confirmed](https://twitter.com/RichardBuxton_/status/1570755625600299010) that his number one goalkeeper is not set to return until after the international break, where they are targeting games against Southampton and Manchester United for his potential return.

### The Latest: More injury worries

In his press conference, [Lampard](https://twitter.com/RichardBuxton_/status/1570755625600299010) also revealed that Yerry Mina ‘won’t be fit for a few weeks’, and that is the same for Mason Holgate.

He also [confirmed](https://twitter.com/RichardBuxton_/status/1570757639386312705) that while Andros Townsend is ‘working incredibly hard’ to get fit, he will not return anytime soon.

### The Verdict: Headache for Lampard

With all of these first-team players not returning until after the international break, Lampard has a real headache in terms of team selection for their game against West Ham.

Ben Godfrey is another player who is currently injured, and is not expected to be back until [after](https://www.premierinjuries.com/teams/everton) the FIFA World Cup ends in Qatar.

That makes three central defenders out with injury, so only [three](https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fc-everton/startseite/verein/29) centre-backs in James Tarkowski, Conor Coady and Michael Keane are fit and available to Lampard at the moment, severely limiting his options.
