This season ended on a slightly sad note for Brighton & Hove Albion fans as they waved goodbye to Bruno, who has earned the right to be called a legend at the Amex.
Bruno made 235 appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion. He was a key figure in the Seagulls’ Premier League promotion in 2017 and has been instrumental in the club’s rise over the years.
Interestingly, a Brighton fan who goes by the name of ItsFusionHD on Youtube recently had the chance to interview Bruno. The Spaniard revealed that the most difficult player he’s ever had to face in the Premier League is Manchester City’s Leroy Sane, which is understandable with him being a right-back.
Sane (who is good value for his £90m rating on Transfermarkt) is arguably one of the most difficult attackers to defend against in world football as he can use both feet, he’s incredibly quick and he has a ridiculous array of skills.
Luckily for Bruno, he won’t have to worry about the German anymore as he’s now retired a Brighton legend.
