Is Parish right to value Wilfried Zaha at £100m?

Is Parish right to value Wilfried Zaha at £100m? - Playmaker

Crystal Palace didn’t exactly have much to shout about in the season just gone, but one thing that would surely delight fans is seeing Wilfried Zaha stay at Selhurst Park this summer.

Of course, the last thing supporters would want is to see the Englishman walk out the door, so it comes as no surprise that Steve Parish has set his price tag at £100 million (as per Guardian).

Interestingly, a Crystal Palace fan called Harvey Jones has given his verdict on the whole Zaha situation. He believes that the tricky winger will stay this summer and the large asking price is simply there to scare off any suitors.

Harvey ended up making a bold claim about the winger as he labelled him as the ‘greatest player in the club’s history’, which is understandable in a way but it’s definitely something that’s up for discussion.

Nevertheless, Zaha is priceless to Palace and they understandably want him at the club for as long as possible, so the £100 million asking price is completely understandable.
